                 Classes start Wednesday, September 24  6:15 pm - 7:30 pm in the Old Grade School.

   Confirmation Program  Grades 8, 9, & 10 
                 Classes start on Wednesday, September 24 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm in the Hall of Bishops at the Cathedral.

ATTENTION PARENTS:

•  MAKE SURE TO PRINT THE CORRESPONDING PACKET FOR EACH STUDENT'S PROGRAM AND TURN IN TO REYNA TORRES.  WE MUST HAVE THIS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE ELIGIBLE TO START CLASSES.   **NO EXCEPTIONS***
  
  
•  YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF ENROLLING ONLINE OR PRINTING A PAPER FORM AND TURNING IN AT THE CHURCH OFFICE.  FORMS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE AT THE CHURCH OFFICE. 
  
  
• NO REGISTRATIONS FOR SACRAMENTAL CLASSES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE: OCTOBER 3 AND ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE CLASSES START.
  
  
• BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATES MUST BE TURNED IN FOR ALL STUDENTS ASKING FOR A SACRAMENT WHO WERE NOT BAPTIZED AT SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL, BY NOVEMBER 1.

The mission of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Religious Education Program is to educate the youth of our parish in the teachings and ways of the Catholic Faith.  The Religious Education program offers the students the opportunity to not only learn about their Catholic faith but to also develop their relationship with God, the Father, Jesus, his Son and the Holy Spirit as they continue their journey of lifelong learning in the Catholic faith.

English Religious Education classes 1-7 grades are held from 6:15 pm until 7:30 pm on Wednesday evenings in the former Sacred Heart Grade School building across the street from the Church

The Confirmation program for 8^th, 9^th, and 10^th, grade students is held from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm on Wednesday evenings in the Hall of Bishops at the Cathedral.  This program is a combined English/Spanish program taught in English.  (If students cannot speak the English language, arrangements will be made to accommodate them.)  The Confirmation program follows the guidelines of the Diocese of Salina, this includes Mass attendance on Sundays and Holy Days, Class attendance, Service projects, and an interview with the Pastor.

Registration for the English program and Confirmation program is completed online or in the Church office.
